Ten times I’ve written down my thoughts about my self-publishing journey.

Ten months since I took that huge leap and put Sight of Solace , my debut dark fantasy novel, into the world.

Ten bookstore submissions in my sent box because I officially own one ISBN, and all the rights to sell my book!

The past few months have been nothing short of amazing. I managed to sell out of physical copies at my last book event and hit records once again for shipping out signed copies. This translated into my ability to purchase my ISBN, make formatting changes to the book, and update my cover. I’m amazed.

The romantasy book genre is booming, I know first hand because I’m a reader myself! But, to have a story that is so dear to my heart be accepted and loved so deeply across the world, I can barely wrap my head around it.

In the upcoming months I have so much more to give. Author events, signings, bookstore copies, and so many surprises regarding book two, Soul of Solace.

I’m taking a moment to revel in the beauty that is this journey, to appreciate the people I’ve met along the way, and hey, maybe even write ten more emails, because we’re just getting started.
