One year.

There’s something about this being my eleventh blog post and my one-year celebration that feels a little like divine timing. How do I even put this into words? I’m a published author, it should come easy right? …

Every single moment of this journey with Sight of Solace has been uplifting, motivating, and assuring me that I am on the right path.  When I first started, I was nothing more than a mom and wife with a hobby, utterly petrified about putting a (very) smutty fantasy book out into the world with my name on it. Now, I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’ve met readers, other amazing authors, made new friends, and strengthened so many connections that I couldn’t imagine my life without. 

I love to see statistics so let’s talk about the actual numbers behind the last 365 days. Over 500 physical books sold, half a million pages read on Kindle Unlimited, all by people in over 12 countries, 4 book events, and 1 ISBN purchased by me.

While we are on the conversation about numbers, we’ve talked a lot about book one, celebrating a single year that it’s been available to readers… but what about the number that comes after?

I am elated to announce that book two, Soul of Solace, has an official release date.

November 11, 2025.

I’ve been working through this book for longer than I can explain in a few simple sentences. It’s been working its way to fruition through my dreams, long hours of writing, and even poking its head into therapy sessions. This book is ruining me in the best way and I can’t wait to share it with you.

So, to a whole year, I raise a glass, and to book two, I swallow it down. You’re not ready for this.
